The Timespan 1200i has a pleasing design and has convenient handlebar controls which give you the power to have control of your incline and speed without you ever having to remove your hands from the bars. This means you can run without any fear of losing concentration or balance when you adjust the pace.
The machine features a 2.25 horsepower motor, a large 20×56” running surface, 2.5” front rollers, and also a biomechanically sound deck suspension system which can support people of up to a weight of 200lb. To help track your progress, the machine can automatically save exercise data to a USB drive. After saving this data, it can be uploaded to your own personal Lifespan Fitness Club account, where you can get reports of your exercise results.
The TR1200i’s centrepiece is no doubt the multi-color LCD console. It offers you a number of simultaneous exercise programs and readouts which you can use to help you with your fitness goals. It can track your distance, calories, times, heart rate, incline levels and steps. There are 17 workout programs which are preset for you to choose from.
On top of this, there are 2 ‘My Zone’ heart rate control programs as well as 2 custom programs. The My Zone constant program maintains your heart rate a constant levels, whilst the My Zone Interval program allows you to enter custom maximum and minimum heart rates.

The layout of this treadmill is one of it’s greatest attributes. The controls are a very convenient size, and they depict the required information very clearly. Some treadmills tend to have overwhelmingly large dashboards, but not the TR1200i. The incline adjustment function on the handles is extremely useful, and it doesn’t disturb the flow of the workout. Being able to adjust the incline and speed without having to slow down and move closer to the console is a great advantage to have.
The belt and the motor are very quiet, and the handlebars and the console are stable even during running. There is virtually no movement at all from the console whilst running on this machine.
When you plug the USB into the console, it displays your name, age, gender, weight and height. Conveniently, you don’t have to enter this every time you use the treadmill in order to get accurate calorie readouts.

“Easy to use. I’m 210lbs and my knees don’t hurt on this treadmill, never really had knee problems before either though. Very happy with this product. haven’t used the usb port for tracking milage yet but I will start doing that soon in the future. I would buy this product again.”
“This has to be one of the best values on the market for $1000. It inclines to 15%, max. speed of 11 mph, handles up to a 300LB runner, and is built sound. I have ran over 30 miles the last three weeks and it has given me no problems.”
